Alex’s handcrafted soaps are not an indulgence, but rather a reconnection with your body's natural balance.
That is the passion that is poured into every bar of Alex’s Handcrafted Soaps, made for you onsite in Alex’s family homestead in the beautiful Adelaide Hills between the townships of Macclesfield and Strathalbyn: the passion to reconnect to natural balance.
Handcrafted Soap Bars are made with combinations of oil chosen for the qualities they bring to the soap. The oils are turned into soap through the process of saponification, using lye as the alkaline reactant. A cold process is used to retain the naturally moisturising glycerine. The soaps are left to cure for a minimum of 4 weeks. Each bar is then individually cut by hand so that it will have its own character. Bars vary in weight from 100 to 120 grams.
Out of respect for the endangered Orang-utan and their habitat Alex does not use palm oil in any of her products.
